Steam Plate Heat Exchanger

A steam plate heat exchanger is a compact, high-efficiency thermal transfer device that uses steam as the heating medium. It utilizes corrugated metal plates to deliver rapid and uniform heat exchange.

 

During operation, high-temperature steam and process media (such as water and oil) flow counter-currently or cross-currently through thin rectangular channels on opposite sides of the plates. The steam releases latent heat and condenses, while the process medium absorbs heat and rises in temperature, completing efficient heating, thermal regulation and condensation cycles for industrial and commercial systems.
